I invite you to take a hit or two or three, play this, and scroll.
In the future people will live in house high up in the trees (above).
The people of the future will hopefully still have Ferrari’s like this concept, but hybrid (I know, that’s a pipe dream).
Consumers of the future (aka currently in Asia) will simply order all their essentials on the way to work via billboards in public places. Take a picture of what you want out of a product line-up with your iPhone, send your order out into the Cloud (lol), and an employee at a local grocery store will pack up your order and send it to your home. Basically, PeaPod on the go.
Some products that could be available for purchase would be these Capuccino coffee sticks. The spoon shaped sticks dissolve in your coffee while adding different flavors.
Got cool Milk packaging?
This trashcan concept expands as you add more and more trash to it.
This laptop concept, if realized would be revolutionary. The Plantbook is based on the water soaking properties of bamboo and its battery “…absorbs water when soaking it in water and generates electrolysis using power stored in a solar heat plate installed on the top. In this process, it is operated using hydrogen as energy source and discharges oxygen. A leaf-shaped strap hanging on the top is made with silicon. It plays a role of a hand ring and a green LED indicates when the battery is charged.”
Since weed will most certainly by legal in the future, people will probably start designing classier ways to smoke, you know smoking apparatuses that suit your home or whatever. Like…
And finally what would be a future smoke sesh without music? Here’s what I think audio-visual experiences will (should) be forward in time:
…What. Just happened?
Another great Steve Smith video above for Slugabed.
Journeying through space and time.
And that’s all if Earth survives 2012 and/or global environmental destruction. This post mostly ended up being a product design and music post, but all good right? Cheers!
